Answers to your most burning pet photography questions:

Do I get to select my photos?

Due to my pricing model, I do not provide proofs. The nature of pet photography is that most photos taken aren’t usable; they’re “rough drafts” that ultimately lead to the final product. If you have something specific in mind, please let me know!

Do you use a studio?

In an effort to keep my prices reasonable, I do not have a fixed studio location. As many dogs do best in a familiar environment, my model is to come to you. My equipment is 100% portable and setup/teardown doesn’t take very long.

If you’d prefer a “studio-like” environment, I host somewhat regular events at two local Pet Supplies Plus stores.

What about outdoor photos?

My specialty is indoor, studio-like photos. You’ll notice a few outdoor photos on my portfolio page; these were taken during our rare “nice-weather” days here in central Florida, or in other parts of the country.

Outdoor photo requests can be accommodated on a case-by-case basis during the cooler parts of the year and are largely weather-dependent. No outdoor photos will be scheduled when the high temperature for the day is forecasted at 80F or higher.

What are your photo set offerings?

I do my best work when the backdrop is simple, and the dogs also tend to appreciate it. Digital backgrounds and plain white backgrounds are my signature offerings. Digital background photos are shot on a plain white backdrop and artwork is added in post-production, leading to a truly unique image of your pet.

Do you photograph other animals?

I’m a dog person through and through. I’ve photographed the occasional (cooperative) cat and a handful of other species, but I truly connect with dogs.
